Open Day: Field Talks & Plant Sale 17 January 2021 10am-12pm

We are having a family-friendly open day to celebrate our lagoon! Come along to learn about the birds, the history, the future and how you can help.

Learn to make string from native plants

10.30am - Greg Kerr, Maori Reserves Trustee, on the history and Maori perspectives

11.00am - Derek Onley, ornithologist, on the birdlife

11.30am - Matt Dale, Senior Environmental Advisor – Freshwater Management | Te Ao Tūroa – Mauri Team |Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu, on water quality monitoring
